HeartAttack

HeartAttack UX/UI
Project
Problem: Heart Disease has been the leading cause of death not only in the state of Maryland but also in the United States. Heart disease is preventable through a proper healthy lifestyle. Although this is a well-known fact, younger generations still seem to disregard the health hazards of eating without restrictions in their diet.
Solution: HeartAttack acknowledged factors why young adults prefer fast, cheap, and convenient food. As a result, HeartAttack offers a solution where consumers aging from 15 to 35 can conveniently order their food online, while having the option to only be recommended meals that are appropriate according to their health goals.

Empathy Map
To start brainstorming possible design solutions, I started with an Empathy Map using my potential user’s perspective. Overall, this empathy map summarized some of the thoughts that other young adults might have regarding the current trend about unhealthy diets.
Indeed, using this empathy map, I further came up with how should I actually make the App interactive, and user-friendly. The interviews also allowed me to think outside my own thoughts, and consider other people’s experiences related to my target users.
Sketching the Product
Brand Logo
To ensure that the App would not get away from its purpose, the name of the App was more direct.
The role of the HeartAttack brand name is to make sure that unfamiliar users would ask why the App was named as such. This way, the brand will be more hopeful that people will actually start a conversation about the problem and therefore, will be more educated.
Product Branding
HeartAttack
Through research, interview, and peers, I concluded that the online delivery app offers a great solution not only to keep a conversation about the topic but also to have an actual call to action among youth regarding their health.

Overall
When users do not like the recommended meals, they still have the freedom to search the food that they are craving through the home screen’s search bar, or simply just log their homemade meals through the Reports page.
While HeartAttack is not different from other online delivery App, the App made sure to only offer the best. That is why HeartAttack would remind and allow every user to set a goal they prefer based on their daily calorie limit. This is also to pursue users to be mindful about what they eat.
